Gas Bars / Convenience Stores, Home Heating (Gabriola), Discount Fuel Cards, Cardlocks

Co-op member/owners have nine gas bar locations offering convenience stores, supreme, mid grade, regular and marked gas, diesel fuel, propane and home heating fuel (Gabriola Island).

Home heating oil is available to Co-op members through a special arrangement with Columbia Fuels. Members can call (250) 751-2000 and identify themselves as a Co-op member to make arrangements for delivery.

Mid Island Co-op members are entitled to patronage allocations on their home heating fuel. Last year, the patronage allocation was 3.5% on purchases. Members must give Columbia Fuels their Co-op member number when setting up their account. Purchases will then automatically be credited to their Co-op purchase allocations for patronage purchases.

Co-op Refillable Gas Card

The Refillable Gas Card is exclusive to Mid Island Co-op Gas Bars. It can be purchased at any Co-op Gas Bar. You can pay for your gas card with cash, debit card or credit card.

The card can be purchased and then ‘refilled’ in any amount but amounts of $100.00 or more qualify the purchaser for a 3% discount. $300.00 or more qualifies for a 4% discount.

Gas card balances are printed on purchase receipts and can be viewed online by the card owner on this site at any time. Just click on the fuel card picture on our home page at the bottom of the screen.
